With so many new skills to learn at this stage, it is important not to expect your child to develop at a rate that is too fast for her.
All children progress at their own pace, which is determined by the speed that their developing brain and nerves allow. Your child will want to please you and may try to do things that are more complicated than her development will allow. Failure is demoralizing because she feels she’s let you down. A better approach is to give her all the help and encouragement she needs, showing her how pleased you are with every task she manages, without setting goals that are beyond her abilities.
Choosing clothes
Encourage your child’s interest in dressing himself by letting him choose the clothes he os to wear.
